My First Closing in Austin — And a Full-Circle Moment

I’m incredibly proud to share that I just closed my first real estate transaction here in Austin — and it couldn’t have been more meaningful.

I had the honor of representing the buyers of 201 Brandon Way in the beautiful Seven Oaks neighborhood. The home is truly exceptional — Mediterranean-style architecture, an infinity-edge pool, spa, outdoor lounge with a fireplace, and some of the best sunset views I’ve seen since moving to Texas. The asking price was $3.5 million, and given that it was a multiple offer home, we helped our client win the offer, and move them in quickly to get them out of their AirBnB.

But what made this experience unforgettable was the connection I had with the buyer.

As soon as we met, we recognized each other — we both grew up in the Bay Area of California. It was one of those rare, serendipitous moments where the world suddenly feels smaller. What started as a home showing turned into a reunion, and from there, I had the privilege of guiding a familiar face through one of the most important purchases of their life.

Representing someone I knew from back home reminded me why I got into real estate in the first place: to build relationships, to be someone people trust, and to help others find a place that feels like home.

This first closing wasn’t just about the numbers or the property — it was a personal milestone. I’m grateful for the trust, the timing, and the opportunity to represent a friend in this major life moment.

Austin’s been good to me — and this is just the beginning.
